Two Generations of Black Activists Discuss the Past and Future of Social Justice
“In this series we invite two people from completely different generations to sit and chat about what things used to be like back in their day and what things are like now.
In this episode we invited Bob Gore (72) and Brea Baker (24) to discuss what inspired them to become activists, how far the movement has come since Martin Luther King Jr. and if there’s hope that equality for the Black community can be achieved in their lifetime.”

About the Book, "KNOW JUSTICE, KNOW PEACE, Black Lives Matter New York City Protest Photos 2020" by Bob Gore.
"Of all my undertakings, the massive 2020 Black Lives Matter protests in New York City were the most memorable photography projects. Tens of thousands nearly paralyzed the city streets despite the raging Covid pandemic..."
I am pleased to announce the creation of the Bob Gore collection at the National Museum of African Americans and Culture in Washington, DC. Having my work selected by the premier African American cultural institution is a high honor and a dream come true.
From January 18 through March 2, 2023, a retrospective of my work entitled “Witnessing Faith” will be on view at The Interchurch Center at 61 Claremont Ave., New York. There will be images of Christians, Jews, and Muslim believers of African descent from around the US and Caribbean in worship, celebration, education, and social action.
